Phase 1: Study of the concept
In the first step, our group divided the history of computer to 5 different section to individual work on it. I choose to review the 2005 onward period. I decided to follow this portion of history both in software and hardware area. In other word, I prefer to use mixture of these two aspects of computer parallel together and focus mostly on the important and significance of the event. For this purpose there are many computer history websites that represent the history in different way like timeline. As the result of the research I use the Computer Hope website more than the others (http://www.computerhope.com/history/2000.htm). I also get enormous help from Wikipedia dictionary which becomes one the best data sources in future in today researching concept. According to my previous field of study Bachelor of Computer Engineering, I do a fair judgment about which incident is more significant since 2005 which below is the list of them:

Phase 2: Searching for relevant photos
On the next step, I search for some related photos, logos and symbols to declare the event at that time. In this process, I deeply emphasize on the relevance of the finding photos and the incident that we are going to mention. However I am a beginner in art and graphic design, there are some obvious principles which seem to improve the outcome significantly.
For example, for merging the companies or the situation that an organization been bought by other cooperation, the good photo may include two side logos. It represents that some business have been between those two.

Moreover, I look for pictures that show the nearest concept of the history event. For an instance, when we want to talk about particular model of iPhone, we should search for that specific features that I any visitor study the future poster precisely, the details been declared obsessively.

In addition to these factors, the photo should represent the idea that we want to focus on it. For example, when the person in the photo is more important than product, the photo can be blur or small and far. It reduces the device details to emphasize on the person who is going to be mentioned.

The next important aspect is to collect high enough resolution items to support any further editing on. It can be some time so critical when very deep editing is needed. Also poor quality of the pictures can result to low attractiveness of the outcome, especially when it is required that the file been printed on large scales. The design should have the features to support any future demands.

The last but not the least character that I care about it is to download the items that have decent color balance and proper mixture.

Some of the few photos that I gain through the searching are as below respectively in time:
2005

2006

2007

2008

2009

2010

Phase 3: Creating the posters
In the third phase I am going to use the found photos in order to create two posters. These posters should indicate the trend of Computer History with details. They must clear enough to make sense for visitors. I prefer to put the pictures in order to present the process through the history. Because this trend in continuous, I do not put any year number on the curve to show the integrity of the computers science development. Moreover, I choose spiral path because of its outstanding sense about showing the concept of trend. It starts from the small unclear base which will grow to an unlimited area that is the exact characteristics of knowledge. The insensible increment of the height emphasize on the this growth too. In the middle there is a man who shows the humankind progress in the path of development. It comes from the middle hole of past to future infinite areas. One of the spectacular specialties of the spiral style is that the next curve is always bigger than the antecedents. It is the obvious factor in knowledge through the time. I also put a shadow on the middle point to show it as a vortex to disappear the past properly.

Poster 1 (incomplete)

I use sticker and tack to show the attachment of the photos that looks to more of office tools. It represents the office environment where the innovations came from. Also it appears to be proper for this subject. At the end I erase the stripe and spots to make the poster clear and neat. It increases the effect of the task in my opinion. This poster seems to clearly give a glance about the key event of the last 5 years in computer software and hardware industry.

Poster 1 (Final)

For the second I use the idea of the rear view mirror of the car which looks familiar for all people and give a glance about the path that been gone by us. I use some road regular element like bill boards and signs to put the pictures in.

Poster 2 (Incomplete)
And after editing the photos the Final poster is as below:
